Praise God:
- That He called DeAngelo to work as a Campus Staff Minister at Utah Tech!
- For the 22 students who decided to follow Jesus this year!
- For every student leader and apprentice who said yes to being a part of what God is doing on their campuses
- For the 171 students who were actively involved in InterVarsity in the Arches Area
- For an amazing staff retreat and arguably the best staff team
- The incredible growth of InterVarsity at BYU
Pray for:
- DeAngelo to be fully funded and ready to go on campus in the fall
- Our staff team as we seek to create resources that help us share the Gospel in our Utah context
- The Provo Global Program - InterVarsity staff and students from Arizona and Utah and Colorado will gather in Provo for 5 weeks of learning what it means to love their LDS neighbor; Samantha will be participating in teaching some of the orientation, attending a few of the events, and going to the debrief. The program is May 27-July 2. Many students are still fundraising -- please pray for each student to be fully funded.
- For God to send harvesters to the Utah field! We are hoping to hire staff in Provo/Orem and Price in particular. We would also love to hire more interns.
- Revival on campus! Pray that the Holy Spirit would come in word, power and deed to create a season of breakthrough that leads to a new normal of kingdom experience and fruitfulness on the college campus.
Praises:
- 7 students make decisions to follow Jesus while at Mark Camp!
- 6 students get baptized during camp!
- So many BYU students involved in weekly Bible Study!
- The faithfulness of the CCU team and CCU's commitment to sending students to Utah
- Our current intern DeAngelo Brown is joining our staff team next year and will continue work at Utah Tech University!
- We have given away SO MANY Bibles this year! Pray that those who took them would read them!
Prayers:
- Pray for our upcoming Arches staff retreat at the end of April. We look forward to reflecting, celebrating, fellowshipping, praying, and brainstorming together with our team. This is the first time we will not have our children watched by their grandparents. Please pray that we are able to find some babysitters - allowing us both to participate to some extent.
- Pray for more workers for the harvest! In the coming years we will need staff for BYU, UVU, & USUE.
- Pray for the Provo Global Program -- currently 13 students and 5 staff are planning to come to Orem for a 5 week summer program where they will learn about relational evangelism and about what it looks like to love Latter Day Saints and BYU students. These students are currently raising funds for this program. Please pray for their success.
- As always, keep praying for revival. God is at work on the college campus and we can't wait to see what happens next!

- Praise God for the 14 students who gave their lives to Him in the fall semester!
- Praise God for our amazing team of staff and for their dedication to God's mission.
- Praise God for our incredible staff retreat, the unity of our staff team, and our enjoyment of one another.
- Praise God for the thousands of students who responded to God's call into mission at Urbana. Praise God for those who made a first time decision or recommitment to follow Him.
- Praise God for Raya and how He is working in her life and in the lives of many other students like her in our area.
Prayers:
- Please pray for our SLED (Student Leaders Equipped and Developed) retreat at the end of January. Specifically pray:
- For good driving weather for students and for a safe drive.
- For our staff team and for our visiting staff (Rob) as we prepare for teaching at this retreat.
- For students to respond to God's call to mission on their campuses and get excited about being a part of what God is doing
- For students to learn how to lead small group Bible studies on campus
- For students from our area to get to know one another and feel unified in Christ
- Please pray for Justin as he prepares for one of our largest chapter camps ever! He is the camp director this year. He will be organizing staff and students, as well as co-teaching Mark 1.
- Pray for our staff and student leaders that they would make compelling invitations to camp and that the right students would come to camp and be changed by studying God's Word.
- Pray for more staff and interns! We would love to hire more staff for our area.
- We have a few MPD goals (ministry partner development). We would love for prayers that the Matt Moten legacy fund would get to $500,000 in the next five years. We also personally need to fundraise for a current deficit (to replace lost funding) and hope to make a push this spring and summer. Please be praying towards these goals!
